A Culinary Extravaganza: Saudi Feast Food Festival takes centre stage in the capital

Recently, Riyadh has become a hive of activity.

With massive music events and internationally acclaimed sporting debuts, and of course all the happenings of Riyadh Season 2023, and this weekend the city will host a celebration of food at an exciting food festival.

Under the guidance and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Saudi Feast Food Festival will be taking place this weekend in the capital.

Running from Thursday November 23 through to Saturday December 2, the third edition Saudi Feast Food Festival is just one of five food festivals announced by the MOC that will take place this year.

As the name might suggest, the Saudi Feast Food Festival will celebrate all things Saudi cuisine, from the heritage flavours of traditional Bedouin classics to modern takes on traditional Saudi dishes, this week-long celebration of food is an exciting addition to the winter calendar of events.

The Saudi Feast Food Festival will also introduce visitors to the history and culture of authentic and traditional dishes, throughs storytelling and immersive workshops.

There be an array of food vendors serving flavourful Saudi cuisine, and there will also be a whole host of other interesting exhibits, activities and workshops taking place: from a dedicated retail area highlighting the creations and produce of local producers to an interactive farm and children's activity zone, to an exhibition space dedicated to olives and olive oil, alongside a zone dedicated to and a hosting a number of interesting immersive and hands on food related workshops.
