Ramadan is a time of spiritual reflection, devotion and refocus.

The Holy Month is also a time of fostering and strengthening familial and community bonds, as people extend acts of kindness to neighbours, spend time with family and cherish moments with loved ones, and gather together to break the daily fast.

Known and loved for its unique blend of tradition and modernity, Jeddah draws the interest of both Saudi and international travellers: the coastal city offers visitors and locals a bustling, vibrant atmosphere with busy markets, upscale shopping malls, and a thriving food scene catering to diverse range of tastes.

Sitting on the western, Red Sea coast of the Kingdom, Jeddah is often visited as the location for the annual Saudi Arabian Formula 1 Grand Prix, but is also loved for UNESCO-listed old town, the immersive and historical hub of the Al Balad district.

When it comes to delicious dining options, Jeddah does not disappoint. Come with us as we unveil several tasty, modern takes on the Iftar meal.
