Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, the one-Michelin-starred restaurant at Atlantis The Royal, is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Chef Heston Blumenthal’s legendary three-star restaurant, The Fat Duck.
This limited edition dining tribute- only available until the end of August -will bring some of The Fat Duck’s most iconic dishes to Dubai, for the first time. This unique Michelin-star cross-over dining experience will allow Dubai diners experience the creativity and innovation that made the British restaurant famous, and put Blumenthal into the spotlight.
A Culinary Tribute to Three-Star The Fat Duck
Opened in 1995, The Fat Duck quickly gained a reputation for culinary innovation, pioneering techniques like molecular gastronomy, multi-sensory cooking, and flavour encapsulation. The restaurant earned its first Michelin star in 1999, its second in 2002, and its third in 2004 - and has since maintained all three stars - making it one of only a handful of UK restaurants to achieve this distinction. In 2005, the restaurant was named the best restaurant in the world by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Housed in a 16th-century building, over the last three decades, The Fat Duck in Bray, England has evolved into one of the world’s most experimental and celebrated restaurants. It became famous for its tasting menu, featuring dishes like nitro-scrambled egg and bacon ice cream, mock turtle soup inspired by Alice in Wonderland, and Sound of the Sea, which includes an audio element to enhance the dining experience.
