After hosting a pop-up location in the capital city in 2021, Zuma is set to open a permanent dining destination this December.
The internationally acclaimed Japanese izakaya restaurant, is set to open its doors in the heart of Riyadh's King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). This will be a highly anticipated opening for foodies in Riyadh, and marks a significant milestone for the Kingdom's growing culinary scene.
In partnership with MJS Holding, a leading Saudi Arabian hospitality investment and management company, Zuma Riyadh will bring its signature style and acclaimed culinary experience to the Kingdom. The restaurant will feature three distinct dining areas: the main kitchen, a robata grill, and a sushi counter, offering a sophisticated yet relaxed dining experience.
Guests can expect to indulge in Zuma's signature dishes, such as the Tsubu-miso Gake Hinadori No Obun Yaki, a baby chicken marinated in barley miso and roasted on cedar wood, and the Wagyu Gunkan No Fuyu Torifu, a decadent wagyu beef tartare and black truffle dish.
Founded by renowned chef-restaurateur Rainer Becker and entrepreneur Arjun Waney in 2002, Zuma has become a global icon of contemporary Japanese cuisine. Its unique blend of bold flavours and high-quality ingredients has captivated diners worldwide.
Originating in London in 2002, the Japanese-inspired sushi izakaya restaurant now has international locations in Hong Kong, Istanbul, Bangkok and Miami. And with this new opening in Riyadh, Zuma has further expanded its regional footprint in the GCC, with other locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai already open.
