Who Will Perform at the Riyadh Season 2024 Opening Ceremony?
Over the last week or so, His Excellency Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), Turki Al-Alshikh, has been announcing a line up of musical stars for the Opening Ceremony via various social media platforms such as X (previously Twitter) and Instagram.
And the line up is already looking top-notch!
Busta Rhymes
Announced first as the headliner for the Opening Ceremony, Busta Rhymes will set the tone for the rest of the season with his high-energy setlist featuring his greatest hits and new tracks. Popular on the music scene and in the charts since the 1990s, hits like Arabian Nights, Break Ya Neck and Dangerous have cemented Busta's status as one of the most influential and respected rappers in the hip-hop industry.
Ciara
Known for her energetic dance moves and catchy melodies, Ciara was a chart-topper throughout the noughties, and her iconic tunes remain much-loved on dancefloors across the world. Rising to fame with her debut album, Goodies, in the early 2000s, Ciara has consistently delivered hit songs including chart-topping tracks like 1, 2 Step, Like A Boy and Level Up.
Missy Elliot
A dominant force in the hip-hop industry for over two decades, and a trailblazer for women in hip-hop, Missy Elliot is known for her innovative lyrics, powerful vocals, and groundbreaking contributions to the genre. Riyadh Season 2024 Begins on October 12

The fifth season will open on October 12 with a star-studded concert and the first fight night of the season: the IV Crown Showdown. Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol will battle it out for the chance to be crowned the ultimate champion in the world's light heavyweight division. This main fight will be preceded by seven exciting undercard clashes.
