Riyadh’s first-ever comedy festival is no joke. From Kevin Hart to Jo Koy and Pete Davidson, here are the comedy legends lighting up the stage at this year’s Riyadh Season

Dozens of the world's funniest comedians are heading to Riyadh Season this year

Big laughs are on their way to Saudi Arabia. As part of the sixth edition of the legendary Riyadh Season festivities, the capital city will welcome the first-ever Riyadh Comedy Festival, set to take place from September 26 to October 9 at Boulevard City.

Over the course of two weeks, the festival, which was announced by Chairman of the GEA, His Excellency Turki Alalshikh has promised to bring 50 of the world’s top comedians to Riyadh this autumn. Below, we spotlight 28 of the biggest names already confirmed.

Mo Amer

Born in Kuwait to Palestinian parents and raised in Houston, Mo Amer has become one of the sharpest voices in global comedy. Best known for his hit Netflix series Mo and his work with the comedy troupe Allah Made Me Funny, he blends personal storytelling with sharp social commentary. His stand-up explores everything from immigration and identity to the quirks of everyday life, delivered with warmth, wit, and a distinctly Arab-American perspective.

Jack Whitehall

One of the UK’s most recognisable comedians, Jack Whitehall has built a career balancing cheeky charm with self-deprecating humour. From starring in the sitcom Fresh Meat to co-creating Bad Education, his on-screen presence is as strong as his sold-out stand-up tours. Whitehall’s travel-comedy series Travels with My Father further cemented his global appeal, showing off his quick wit while taking audiences on awkwardly hilarious adventures with his dad.

Aziz Ansari

Bill Burr

Pete Davidson
