Riyadh Season 2024 is gearing up to host another exciting edition of the Dog Festival.
Scheduled to run from December 2 to 7, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, the festival promises to be a thrilling event for dog owners and canine lovers of all ages.
The organisers of the Dog Festival 2024 have aimed to create a family-friendly environment where people can bond with their pets, and learn more about responsible pet care. The festival will feature a variety of exciting competitions and activities, including a selection of dog races and even doggie fashion shows.

The event will feature a wide array of exciting activities for dog lovers of all ages. Visitors can witness thrilling dog races, admire stunning dogs in beauty contests, and be amazed by the skills of working dogs. Additionally, the festival will host dog fashion shows, grooming demonstrations, and a dedicated dog park for furry friends to socialise and play.
For those who prefer a different kind of four-legged friend, there will also be some cat shows.
But for anyone that prefers a different kind of entertainment altogether, there will be a large display of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and even several classic car exhibitions.
Visitors to the Dog Festival 2024 will have the chance to witness the speed and agility of Salukis. Salukis, often referred to as the "Royal Dog of the Pharaohs," are one of the oldest known dog breeds, tracing their origins back to ancient Egypt. With their slender bodies, long legs, and silky coats, Salukis are prized for their hunting abilities and gentle nature, these elegant sighthounds are renowned for their speed, grace, and distinctive appearance.

Watch the Sheepdog Trials, as a number of highly trained dogs herd sheep, cattle, or other livestock. During a demonstration, you'll witness the dog's ability to understand and respond to its handler's commands, using subtle cues to move and control the animals being herded. The dogs' agility, focus, and precision are truly awe-inspiring, as they effortlessly guide the flock through a series of obstacles.
Admire the beauty of different dog breeds at the Dog Show and Beauty Contest. And be amazed by the incredible skills and intelligence of canines at the K9 Shows. Why not bring your own four-legged friend with you? There will be a selection of exciting events (and treats!) that your pet will love, including the dog park.
For added convenience, this year's edition of the Riyadh Season Dog Festival will offer several on-site health clinics staffed by skilled veterinarians, ready to assist with any pet health questions or concerns.
