The Westfield name is heading to Saudi Arabia. Known for its sleek shopping destinations in London, Paris and Los Angeles, the Australian-born retail brand is making its debut in the Kingdom, starting with flagship malls in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
The move comes through a 10-year partnership between Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) and Cenomi Centers, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading mall operators. The deal includes an option to extend for another decade and marks Westfield’s first foray into the Gulf.
Expect the brand to take over key retail hubs including Jawharat Riyadh, Jawharat Jeddah, and Nakheel Mall Dammam, with plans to expand across eight centres in total. As with Westfield's other global destinations, the Saudi branches will offer a mix of fashion, dining and entertainment, with room for live events and experiential concepts.
URW CEO Jean-Marie Tritant said the collaboration “provides the perfect platform to deliver Westfield’s unmatched experience to customers and visitors in the Kingdom,” while Cenomi Centers CEO Alison Rehill-Erguven called it “a major step forward” for Saudi Arabia’s retail sector.
For shoppers familiar with Westfield London or Westfield Stratford City, expect the same blend of high-street brands, luxury labels, and bold digital-first experiences—tailored to a new regional audience.
