Diriyah Company and SRMG forge strategic alliance to elevate Saudi media and culture

Diriyah Company has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG), marking a significant step toward deepening collaboration in the media sector. The agreement aims to deliver innovative projects and initiatives that reinforce Diriyah’s position as a global destination of historical and cultural importance, while amplifying Saudi narratives across domestic and international platforms.

The MoU was signed by Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO of Diriyah Company, and Jomana Al-Rashid, CEO of SRMG. It outlines a comprehensive framework for cooperation across four key areas: corporate and media communications; events and exhibitions; knowledge exchange and training; and joint cultural initiatives. A dedicated team will be formed to develop and execute these efforts, reflecting the shared ambitions of both organisations.

This collaboration also includes enhanced integration across SRMG’s media platforms, the hosting of international media delegations in Diriyah, and the exploration of joint cultural programming. It builds on SRMG’s strengths in analytical storytelling and editorial depth, aligning with Diriyah’s vision to communicate its identity with clarity and impact.

The agreement is part of a broader series of strategic partnerships Diriyah Company has pursued to support its cultural and economic development goals under Saudi Vision 2030. Central to this vision is the creation of the Media and Innovation District, a 250,000-square-meter hub designed to attract media talent and foster creative industries. Featuring commercial spaces, residences, and a luxury hotel, the district will serve as a cornerstone of Diriyah’s transformation into a centre for culture, creativity, and media excellence.

Commenting on the MoU, Jerry Inzerillo emphasised the importance of media and marketing in shaping Diriyah’s future: “This agreement reflects our commitment to enabling innovation in these sectors through the Media and Innovation District, which will become a vibrant hub for creativity in the region.”

Through this partnership, we will support Diriyah’s vision with integrated media solutions that engage audiences both locally and globally.”

Together, Diriyah Company and SRMG are setting a new benchmark for cultural communication—one that blends heritage with forward-thinking media strategy, and positions Saudi Arabia as a leader in storytelling on the world stage.
