Formula E dates announced: Event returns to Jeddah for two nights of all-electric racing
ستقام سباقات الفورمولا إي المزدوجة في السعودية يومي 14 و15 فبراير 2025

After lighting up the Jeddah Corniche Circuit earlier this year, the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is returning to Saudi Arabia — this time for two back-to-back races on 13 and 14 February 2026.

The Jeddah rounds will mark Rounds 4 and 5 of Formula E’s newly announced Season 12 calendar, and they’ll be the only night races of the season, setting the stage for dramatic overtakes and serious strategy under the floodlights.

From Diriyah to Jeddah: A high-speed evolution

While Diriyah played host for six seasons, Jeddah’s switch to electric racing brought a new edge. Set against the city’s waterfront skyline, the Corniche Circuit has already earned a reputation as the fastest street track in Formula E history. Last year’s debut introduced PIT BOOST, a mid-race tactical power surge that added an unexpected layer of suspense, and it’s back for 2026.

A global circuit, a Saudi spotlight

Season 12 is the most ambitious Formula E calendar yet, with 18 races across 12 cities, including São Paulo, Tokyo, Berlin, and a debut in Miami at the iconic Hard Rock Stadium. Other new stops include Madrid, where the championship returns to Spanish soil for the first time since 1989.

Jeddah’s inclusion is a standout. It’s a nod to Saudi Arabia’s growing status as a global motorsports hub, from Formula 1 to Extreme E, and part of the Kingdom’s wider drive to combine entertainment, sport, and sustainability.
