And now, it has been announced that the capital city is gearing up to host yet another historic boxing event, "The Last Crescendo." Scheduled for February 22, the night of boxing will feature a highly anticipated rematch between two boxing titans: Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol.

Beterbiev remains an undefeated powerhouse, and this head-to-head will see the professional boxer defend his unified light heavyweight world title against the skilled Russian, Bivol.

But this isn't the first time the pair have met.

The previous encounter between the sporting icons was a thrilling contest that saw Beterbiev emerge victorious, and the call for a rematch came shortly after. Originally scheduled to take place on June 1, the IV Crown Showdown actually took place on October 12, 2024 and it just so happened that this boxing match was also the opening event for Riyadh Season 2024.

Februarys rematch promises to be even more intense, with both fighters determined to claim the ultimate prize.

But, for those really into boxing, The Last Crescendo undercard is equally impressive, featuring a series of exciting bouts:

  • Heavyweight Title: Daniel Dubois v. Joseph Parker
  • WBC Lightweight Title: Shakur Stevenson v. Floyd Schofield
  • Middleweight Title: Carlos Adames vs. Hamzah SheerazInterim
  • Super Welterweight Title: Vergil Ortiz Jr. vs. Israil Madrimov
  • Interim Heavyweight Title: Zhilei Zhang vs. Agit Kabayel
  • Interim Light Heavyweight Title: Joshua Buatsi vs. Callum Smith

Riyadh Season continues to elevate its status as a global sporting hub, attracting top-tier athletes and captivating audiences worldwide.

"The Last Crescendo" is poised to be a landmark event, showcasing the city's commitment to delivering world-class entertainment.
