As part of the Saudi National Day celebrations, The Giving Movement launched a new clothing collection, Music in Motion.
This exclusive and limited edition collaboration merges fashion with culture and community, creating a unique rang that celebrates unity, diversity, and the rich heritage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - through the creative lens of some of the Kingdom's most loved musicians.
Three Saudi Arabian musicians participated in creating this collection; Dyler, DishDash and BLVXB.
The Music in Motion collection highlights The Giving Movement's commitment to creating meaningful, community-driven fashion. This range focusses on empowering creators, amplifying cultural diversity, and driving impactful change within communities. Each piece in this collection is a unique expression of Saudi heritage, bringing together contemporary art with traditional influences, and reflecting the personal stories of the three Saudi music artists involved.
Dyler, a rapper and content creator from the Kingdom, drew inspiration for his t-shirt design from his song "Qesa Hazeena" (A Sad Story). The t-shirt features a lyric from the track: "If I mean something to you, make me a priority," capturing the emotional depth of his music and the message behind it.
One of Saudi Arabia's leading electronic music duos, Dish Dash also got involved in this project and created a design that pays homage to the Mishlah, a traditional garment worn during weddings and special occasions in Saudi Arabia. Their design incorporates a golden stripe that symbolises the Mishlah, blending their Saudi heritage with a bold, contemporary aesthetic.
Saudi Arabian singer-songwriter, BLVXB creates catch hip-hop music. This musician created his tshirt by drawing inspiration from his love of space and the cosmos. His design reflects the vastness and mystery of the universe, themes that are often present in his music. Through his t-shirt, BLVXB aims to connect with his audience in a profound and resonant way. (PS. You can also get 20% off using the code BLVXB.)
The Music in Motion collection is more than just fashion; it's a celebration of Saudi culture, music, and creativity.
