SO Maldives is where secluded serenity meets club-ready beats

Destinations with powder white sands and luminescent blue waters often market themselves by teasing that they are not the Maldives but nonetheless creating a powerful subliminal link to the famous Indian Ocean island.

It’s become a shorthand for tropical perfection, a name dropped not as a comparison, but as a benchmark. Even the promise of “Maldives-like” beauty is often enough to conjure daydreams of hammocks over turquoise shallows and vivid images of villas perched above the reef.

Such is the power of the Maldives brand.

Family Friendly & Fine Dining

Romantic Dinner - Romea & Juliet Setup

Dining options range from casual all-day to a superb signature restaurant; SO Maldives offers a curated trio of dining experiences that reflect the resort’s commitment to global flavours, stylish presentation and immersive ambience.

The Citronelle Club is the resort’s all-day dining venue, set beachfront with a Zen-inspired design that blends Pan-Asian aesthetics with European fusion. The menu draws inspiration from regional Asian cuisines, don't miss the extensive dim sum selection. The open kitchen adds a theatrical element with the sounds of wok fires and noodle dough preparation, and provides some entertainment for both children and adults as their meals are prepared.

Hadaba, the resort’s signature restaurant, is a two-storey coastal dining destination, with a menu inspired by the Levant. With a sculptural staircase and sweeping ocean views, Hadaba serves Middle Eastern cuisine rooted in traditional techniques. Menu highlights include freshly baked Laffa bread from a custom Saj oven, slow-cooked lamb shawarma, and daily ceviche specials.

Lazuli Beach Club channels Côte d’Azur elegance with a tropical twist. The relatively casual menu leans Mediterranean, with fresh, grilled seabass and vegetable skewers served à la carte. Guests can expect themed barbecues, pop-up events and paella parties. Designed for sharing and perfect for poolside lounging, this is the perfect option for those who don't want to miss out on all the action.
