On November 15, Dubai's skyline welcomed a new architectural marvel as Ciel Dubai Marina, Vignette Collection by IHG, officially opened its doors.
Rising 82 floors above the Dubai Marina and reaching a staggering 377 metres, the property’s debut is more than a milestone, it is a bold statement confirming Dubai’s ongoing status as a global hub for innovation and luxurious architectural excellence.
The World's Tallest Hotel
Ciel’s immediate claim to fame rests on its undisputed height, a fact that has officially solidified its place as the world’s tallest hotel — at least for now.
With extensive experience in ultra-luxury hotels, Ciel's managing director, Heinrich Morio, highlighted the vision behind the property, noting its intention to redefine luxury and creativity and ensure every stay is as elevated as it is memorable. The architectural philosophy is built on balancing drama and depth, utilising organic textures, serene lines, and dynamic lighting to foster a space that feels both opulent and connected to nature.
Rooms & Suites in the Clouds
With its 1,004 keys (857 rooms and 147 suites) Ciel invites guests into an "experiential landmark" designed to immerse them in a dynamic world of contrasts where refined luxury meets the energy of the surrounding city and sea. Across three room tiers, Ciel offers rooms that have been designed to be a haven of calm. With carefully curated style, abundant light, and modern design elements, the aim is to keep guests connected to the energy of Dubai Marina, whilst also offering a sanctuary of indulgent escape.
The Deluxe Room category provides a spectacular perspective through floor-to-ceiling glass, showcasing the glittering marina below. Guests seeking tranquility can opt for the Premium Rooms, which present sweeping views of the city skyline. For ultimate indulgence, the Premium Sea View rooms elevate the experience with panoramic waterscapes, luxurious walk-in showers, high-end amenities, and sleek 55-inch flat-screen TVs.
Pinnacle of Dining and Indulgent Leisure
Plenty of Dining Options
Beyond its sheer scale, Ciel’s most spectacular feature is its culinary and leisure crown. The hotel is home to one of the world's highest infinity pools, offering guests uninterrupted, panoramic views stretching along the Dubai coastline. The dining experiences are equally ambitious, with eight unique venues designed for exceptional culinary journeys.
Ciel is set to offer both residents and visitors a wide variety of dining experiences. Set on the 13th floor, West 13 offers diners a vibrant fusion of Latin-American and Mediterranean fare. Foodies can expect a variety of live cooking stations offering a selection of dishes from handmade pasta, sizzling gyros, tacos, and charcoal-grilled specialties.
Designed as an immersive Asian dining destination, East 14 (on the 14th floor) brings together the best culinary traditions from across Asia, spanning flavours from China, India, in addition to Southeast Asian nations like Thailand and Vietnam. Guests are invited to explore a dynamic array of buffet and live-action cooking stations, from hand-pulled noodles and hot, fragrant curries to freshly prepared sushi and dim sum.
And then for more casual vibes, Risen Café, a homegrown café and artisanal bakery in Dubai. With an outside terrace overlooking the Dubai Marina, the space is instantly inviting, filled with the warmth of conversation and the enticing smell of freshly made goods. Its menu, featuring gourmet sandwiches, handcrafted pastries, and specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies, proudly uses locally sourced ingredients, offering a genuine taste of Dubai's commitment to crafted, conscious dining.
Welcoming Tattu Dubai
The undeniable highlight is Tattu Dubai, the award-winning, UK-born modern Asian concept, which occupies a dramatic, multi-level destination high within the tower. The Ciel Tattu experience spans three jaw-dropping floors:
- The Restaurant & Bar (Level 74): A world of contemporary Chinese and Japanese cuisine set amidst dramatic interiors, and jaw-dropping views over Dubai Marina, Dubai Harbour and even to Jumeirah and beyond.
- The Sky Pool (Level 76): On the 76th floor, you'll find Ciel's stunning pool deck rising 310 metres above the ground. Offering visitors some of the best views in Dubai, and an incredible infinity pool, and a menu of Japanese-fusion bites, here you'll find an atmosphere that shifts from calm daytime relaxation to vibrant sunset DJ sessions. @tattuskypool
- The Sky Lounge & Terrace (Level 81): Serving as the hotel’s crescendo, this venue combines sophisticated drinks and chilled, vibey music with breathtaking 360-degree views from its rooftop perch. @tattuskylounge

When it comes to wellness and spa offerings, as part of IHG’s exclusive Vignette Collection, Ciel is committed to offering a more authentic travel experience through key brand hallmarks. This includes the bespoke "Memorable Rituals," such as the Morning Hydration Ritual, offering specially blended waters at the pool and gym to promote wellness. For guests looking to unwind, the property features a 24-hour state-of-the-art gym, and in early 2026, an indulgent sky-high spa will also open.
