These spaces reflect the Kingdom’s transformation under Vision 2030, showcasing its commitment to sustainability, technological advancement, and cultural preservation.
Since its debut in April, the Saudi Arabian pavilion has hosted over 1,100 events, including live performances, traditional dances, and interactive exhibitions. Highlights include the Ahlan Wa Sahlan welcome experience, the Botanist AR installation, and the ever-popular Irth Restaurant and Café, which has served more than 45,000 cups of coffee to date.
Dr. Ghazi Faisal Binzagr, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Japan and Commissioner General of the Pavilion, celebrated the milestone as a testament to the Kingdom’s growing global presence: “We are honoured to mark this significant milestone and the Saudi Arabia Pavilion’s success in reaching 1 million visitors, which underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to showing its transformation under Vision 2030 and inviting the world to experience its heritage and foster cultural exchange. The pavilion’s success also coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan, reinforcing the deepening ties between the two nations. With millions more expected to visit before the Expo concludes, the Saudi Pavilion continues to be a powerful symbol of the Kingdom’s evolving identity — and its invitation to the world to discover it firsthand.
