Jeddah Calendar - Jeddah Season

It has officially begun: Jeddah Season is here, and so begins the start of the Jeddah Calendar. 

Going hand-in-hand, Jeddah Calendar highlights all the most exciting, interesting and fun things to do and expect during Jeddah Season. Jeddah Season runs from May through to the end of June, and both locals and visitors can expect a jam-packed schedule of events.

Under the theme and slogan of 'together all year', this year's Jeddah Calendar and Jeddah Season offers a wide variety of unique and distinctive activities and events. Encouraging locals and visitors to explore, discover and enjoy the city through interesting experiences that include educational, musical, cultural, and live performance events.  

These are all the Jeddah Calendar events that the Red Sea city is talking about right now.  

Backstreet Boys Concert  

The Backstreet Boys, one of the most popular boy bands of the 1990s, are set to perform in Jeddah on Thursday May 11 as part of Jeddah Calendar.

The boyband group is expected to perform at the incredible Jeddah Corniche Circuit, where the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix took place. Fans can expect to hear some of their biggest hits from the 90s, including “Everybody”, “Shape of My Heart”, and “I Want It That Way”.

Tickets to Backstreet Boys in Jeddah will be available on, this performance will be part of the boyband's massive DNA World Tour.

Cirque du Soleil  

Cirque du Soleil Fuzion will debut as part of the newly unveiled Jeddah Calendar. The impressive acrobatics show is returning to Saudi for a month-long run.

Scheduled to run from April 28 to May 26 at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, the show is expected to attract a large audience. As the largest contemporary circus producer in the world, Cirque du Soleil is renowned for its mesmerising performances filled with incredible acrobatics, music, and dance.

The original Jeddah Cirque du Soleil Fuzion show was designed specifically to cater to the local audience, making it an unforgettable experience for all those who attended.

City Walk 

From April 24 to June 7, discover the best that the City Walk area has to offer during Jeddah Season.

One of the largest areas in the Jeddah Calendar, City Walk has a jam-packed itinerary across ten different entertainment areas. There will be events and activities to suit everyone of all ages.

Discover Anime Village, Horror Zone, Jeddah Live Stage, Adventure Village and of course, an array of interesting shops and a wide selection of delicious restaurants. 

April 24 to June 7. Weekdays from 6pm-1am, and Weekends from 6pm-2am. City Walk. 

Islamic Arts Biennale

The first-ever Islamic Arts Biennale is being held at Jeddah’s Hajj Terminal, and has recently been extended until May 23. The free event features a stunning collection of 280 artefacts, 60 contemporary pieces and 15 never-before-exhibited works.

The exhibition, hosted by the Diriyah Biennale Foundation (DPF) and will run until Tuesday May 23 at the Hajj Terminal in Jeddah. The biennale will be open from 11am to 11pm on Sunday to Thursday, as well as Saturday and 2pm to 11pm on Friday. The event also has two separate pavilions displaying works displayed in Masjid Al Haram, and the Prophet’s Mosque.

WWE King and Queen of the Ring  

The WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournament is making its way to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and fans of wrestling are eagerly anticipating the event. Scheduled for Saturday, May 27, the tournament will take place at Jeddah Superdome, which is the world's largest free-standing dome. This event marks the first King of The Ring live event since 2015, and the first crowning of a Queen since the WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh in 2021.

The tournament promises to be a spectacular event, with some of the best wrestlers from around the world competing for the King and Queen of the Ring titles. Wrestling fans from all over the world are excited to see who will come out on top and take home the coveted titles.
