Massive music stars to bring high energy concerts to Saudi

Gamers8 might be the nation's go-to event for all things gaming, and e-sports, but it will also host a number of big names with a series of weekly concerts.

With a prize pot $45 million, the second edition of Gamers8 is set to be better than ever.

Every Friday from July 7, a new local and international musician will take to the stage to perform infront of the large crowd.

The concert lineup has been announced with weekly concerts held every Friday during July at Mohammed Abdu Arena in Boulevard Riyadh City, where anyone can get to attend concerts featuring renowned international singers and performers.

Imagine Dragons - July 28

Following a number of sold out shows around the world, the American rock and pop band who have won nine Billboard Music Awards with famous hits like "Believer" and "Thunder", will also be taking to the stage and entertaining the crowds all night long on July 28.

Mishaal Tamer - July 28

Coming fresh off a tour with One republic and launching his brand new album, Disco Cowboy on the same day, fans of much loved Saudi sing Mishaal Tamer might get a first listen of the talented musician's new work.

Dafencii - July 21

After a cracking performance at MDL Beast, Sudanese rapper Defencii is set to bring high energy hits to Saudi once again. Expect high energy hits!

WEGZ - July 21

Fans will delight as Egyptian rapper, WEGZ returns to the stage at Gamers8 once again on July 14.

AfroJack - July 21

After a massively successful set at MDLBeast, Dutch DJ AfroJack will be back on stage in Saudi on July 21. Set to bring all his top EDM remixes to the crowds of the Kingdom, this will be an unmissable gig.

Metro Boomin - July 21

On July 21, DJ Metro Boomin, a record producer who has collaborated with artists such as Future, Travis Scott, and Drake will be performing alongside Egyptian rapper who's known for his Arabic hip-hop style music, WEGZ.

DJ R3HAB - July 14

The Dutch-Moroccan DJ Fadil El Ghoul - R3HAB will also take the stage on July 14th. He has previously performed several times in Saudi at MDL BEAST and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

Hamaki - July 14

With more than 12 million followers on Instagram, it comes as no surprise that regional superstar Mohamed Hamaki has been voted 'Best Middle Eastern Artist' by MTV and will be bringing a high energy show to Gamers8 this month.

Macklemore - July 14

The American rapper Benjamin Hammond Haggerty, also known as Macklemore with hits like Thrift Shop and Can't Hold Us, will be performing for the first time ever in the Kingdom on July 14^th, alongside Egyptian singer Hamaki and DJ Sharkk Music.

Rabeh Saqer - July 7

Gracing the stage of Gamers8 on the first day was none other than the Saudi sensation, Rabeh Saqer. The renowned singer who has been performing since 1983 has stolen the hearts of the attendees with both old and new songs.
