Bloomberg Media and SRMG have announced the inaugural Bloomberg Power Players Summit, Powered by Asharq Business with Bloomberg.

This new panel event to be held in Saudi Arabia on March 7, at the Jeddah Yacht Club, coinciding with the Formula One Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The Bloomberg Power Players Summit represents the newest addition to the content partnership between SRMG and Bloomberg Media, which was initially established in 2018 with the introduction of Asharq Business with Bloomberg. Over time, this collaboration has grown to encompass Asharq Quicktake, the Arabic version of the Quicktake streaming news service, alongside Radio Asharq with Bloomberg, the first Arabic-language radio station in the region focused on business news and financial analysis.

This intriguing inaugural event will gather influential figures from the worlds of sports, entertainment, and technology and will explore emerging trends and potential investment opportunities worth billions of dollars.

Led by Bloomberg’s Business of Sports Chief Correspondent, Jason Kelly, the summit will delve into key topics shaping the future of sports, including the impact of private equity in sports investment, evolving dynamics in football, particularly in the MENA region, and the burgeoning opportunities in the esports sector.

The distinguished lineup of speakers includes His Excellency Khalid Al-Falih, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment; Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren; Ralf Reichert, CEO of Esports World Cup Foundation; former professional racing driver turned entrepreneur, Susie Wolff, and other prominent figures from various sectors of the sports industry.

Over 150 esteemed guests, including CEOs and key decision-makers from leading sports companies, are expected to attend the event, with the summit’s discussions also accessible globally through Asharq News, Asharq Business with Bloomberg, and Bloomberg’s diverse media platforms.
