Guests are now able to book their place on the on the maiden voyage of AROYA Cruises, the first Arabian cruise line, as it sets sail on its inaugural journey.

Backed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), Cruise Saudi is the first Arabian-based and owned cruise company which will offer guests the ability to explore and experience the Red Sea and wider GCC region (and beyond) from the comfort of a luxury liner.

A first for the region, AROYA Cruises emerges as a beacon of luxury and sophistication, offering GCC residents a transformative travel experience like never before.

The inaugural cruise will set sail from Jeddah in December aboard the AROYA Manara, a seven year old ship that was once part of a sub-branded fleet for Norwegian Cruise Line.

Revamped and reimagined, the AROYA Manara promises guests an unparalleled experience, in what is essentially a 335-metre floating luxury resort. Boasting 1678 cabins, including suites and balcony cabins with breathtaking views of the sea, the ship is set to redefine cruising in the region.

In a statement, Cruise Saudi said “As the first Arabian cruise line, AROYA Cruises is proud to lead the way with its authentic Arabian experience offered to guests at sea and on land.”

With stunning balcony rooms, cosy interior rooms and indulgent suites with sweeping sea views, it will be the 'Lavender Villas' that will likely pique the interest of even the most seasoned cruisers. Sleeping between 2 and 12 people, the villas (which will include the Royal Villa, and Presidential Suite Villa) will offer guests authentic Arabesque interiors, a large outdoor space with a jacuzzi and a number of exclusive features including a butler and personal concierge.

With a capacity to accommodate over 3362 passengers, AROYA Manara will offer more than 20 unique entertainment options across the ship's 18 decks; from retail therapy to an indulgent spa and wellness centre, to more than ten different dining experiences and captivating performances in the 1,018-seat theatre.

Its safe to say, there will be something for everyone on-board. Of course, the cruise will also cater to families with an array of activities for children such as kid's clubs, a kid's play zone, and family friendly movie nights. Little kids and big kids alike will love the on-board waterpark with 5 slides and a splash zone.

Leaving port in Jeddah, scheduled December itineraries include 'Exploring the Red Sea's Charm', a three night tour of the Red Sea including a stop on the AROYA Cruises private island. Whilst 'A World of Discoveries' will take guests on a four day trip on the Red Sea with a stop in Egypt's Sharm el Sheikh beach resort area.

From January guests will be able to book 'Cultures from the Depths of the Seas', a four day trip from Jeddah, stopping in Jordan's port city of Aqaba. From here the cruise will operate local tours to the Wonder of the World, Petra.

Departing from Jededah, the seven day 'From the Shores to a World of Wonders' trip will stop at several locations including Egypt's Ain Sokhna and Sharm el Sheikh resort, and Aqaba in Jordan.

In March, the cruise line will introduce 'The Legacy of the Desert and Waves', a six night cruise with longer stops of two days in both Sharm el Sheikh and Aqaba.
