FIX Dessert Chocolatier debuts with exclusive pop-up at Harrods

The global culinary sensation that began in a Dubai kitchen, as the answer to an off-beat pregnancy craving is making its official UK debut this winter.

FIX Dessert Chocolatier, the homegrown brand behind the viral "Dubai Chocolate" bar, is set to launch an exclusive pop-up at Harrods in London this winter.

This new opening in one of London's most famous and iconic department stores, is significant for the brand not only as a step towards international expansion, but also the sharing a taste of the original "Dubai Chocolate" with the world outside of the GCC. Many other chocolate brands, including international heavyweights, have attempted to 'dupe' FIX's original and creative flavour combination that has become both an international sensation and a viral 'must-try'.

LEAD Fix Dubai Chocolate

Chocolate lovers will find all the famous FIX chocolate creations in the Chocolate Hall of the iconic Knightsbridge department store - but only for a limited time. The pop-up chocolate celebration will be open from October 27 to November 23: this exclusive residency in one of the world's most prestigious department stores is the brand's first venture outside of the UAE.

The Harrods pop-up provides Londoners and international visitors a rare opportunity to bypass the digital rush and secure a taste of the authentic "Original Dubai Chocolate."

Visitors to Harrods' Chocolate Hall can anticipate an immersive, theatrical experience that aligns perfectly with the store's reputation for exclusivity. Visitors to the pop-up store can expect a jaw-dropping selection of delicious flavours beyond the legendary status of 'Can't Get Knafeh of It' bar, and Instagrammable opportunities. This limited edition store opening will offer UK customers the chance to purchase the elusive chocolate that is famously difficult to secure, even in its home city.

For the brand’s co-founder, the Harrods launch represents a meaningful convergence of personal and business heritage. As Sarah Hamouda noted, "FIX has always been about blending cultures — my London upbringing and Egyptian roots combined with Dubai's unstoppable energy. Launching our first international pop-up with Harrods just felt right."

The simple answer is yes!

The centrepiece of the FIX Dessert Chocolatier pop-up in Harrods will be the bar that started the global craze: "Can't Get Knafeh of It."

Inspired by the traditional Middle Eastern dessert, knafeh, this signature bar features a rich, premium chocolate shell generously stuffed with a decadent blend of pistachio cream, tahini paste, and crispy kataifi (shredded phyllo pastry). The unique combination of creamy, crunchy, salty, and sweet textures turned the bar into a phenomenon, largely thanks to a viral TikTok video that achieved tens of millions of views.

About FIX Dessert Chocolatier

Throughout the GCC, and the world over, FIX Dessert Chocolatier has garnered a cult following and immense social media fame for its indulgent chocolate bars, oozing with unconventional fillings and packaged in bright vibrant designs, with tongue-in-cheek names. Founded in 2021 by British-Egyptian entrepreneurial duo Sarah Hamouda and Yezen Alani, the brand has since become synonymous with reimagining classic confectionery through creative Middle Eastern-inspired flavour profiles.

In the UAE, the original FIX chocolate is notoriously exclusive and hard to get a hold of, typically the bars are only available to purchase via Deliveroo at specific times of the day, where it sells out within seconds. The only other official retail location is another limited edition pop-up stand at Dubai International Airport (DXB) on Concourse B, that has proven to be extremely popular with both locals and international tourists wanting to take home a taste of the celebrity chocolate.
