London’s cult burger joint Supernova lands in Riyadh

Riyadh’s restaurant scene is booming, and its latest arrival is one of London’s most talked-about burger spots. Supernova, the no-frills, flavour-first joint that became a phenomenon in the UK, has officially opened its doors in Al Nakheel.

The concept is simple: soft buns, juicy patties, hand-cut fries, and sundaes worth saving room for. No gimmicks, no over-the-top menu hacks, just classic diner-style dining done right. The interiors follow suit, keeping things crisp and minimalist, letting the food take centre stage.

In London, Supernova carved out cult status in a crowded burger scene, praised for its consistency and obsessive attention to detail. Now in Riyadh, it’s expected to do the same, giving the city’s burger lovers a new go-to for comfort food done properly.

Supernova has its sights set on the region, with further expansion on the horizon, including an Abu Dhabi opening that is already being planned.

Saudi Arabia's food scene is rapidly growing, with the Michelin guide set to start featuring the Kingdom's restaurants in its 2026 edition. Locally, the government has set in place new fine dining regulations as interest in its dining scene grows locally, regionally, and internationally.
