Creamy Date & Cardamom Latte 

This Creamy Date & Cardamom Latte offers a deeply comforting and indulgent coffee experience, perfectly suited for the reflective moments of Ramadan.

Thick and velvety, this latte is infused with the essential flavours of the season, making it a delightful addition to your daily rituals. The natural sweetness of dates, a Ramadan staple, blends seamlessly with the aromatic warmth of cardamom, creating a flavour profile that's both familiar and exciting. Each sip brings to mind the comforting essence of Karak Chai, the beloved spiced tea, but with a unique and satisfying twist. It's more than just a beverage; it's a moment of warmth and tranquility, a sweet treat that encapsulates the spirit of Ramadan. 

Nespresso Date Cardamom Latte

Ingredients:

  • 150ml Nespresso Costa Rica pod (original or vertuo)
  • 45ml of evaporated milk
  • 20ml of date syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom
  • Dates to serve

Method:

  • Pour the date syrup into the bottom of the glass.
  • Brew the coffee to 110mls and pour on top.
  • Add the milk to the Aeroccino and froth. Alternatively, use a hand-held frother.
  • Add the ground cardamom to the milk, and stir.
  • Pour the milk on top of the coffee, and add froth.
  • Sprinkle cardamom powder on top.
  • And, serve with dates.
