Sindalah, a luxurious island resort pivoting around a bustling marina and yacht club, is NEOM's first exciting project that has been brought to completion. And now more information is coming to the surface as to what visitors and guests can expect when visiting.
In a collaboration with leading hospitality, investment, and management company, 7 Management and the late, legendary French chef and restaurateur Joël Robuchon - Sindalah will be home to seven unique, Robuchon dining concepts.
Before his death in 2018, Joël Robuchon was a revered, multi-Michelin-starred chef who has been hailed as revolutionising and modernising French dining.
Choosing to let the flavours of good quality meat, fish and vegetables to all the talking, with most of his signature dishes using less than five ingredients, Robuchon's simplistic cooking style is not to be confused with lack of flavour. Despite having a repertoire of creations and more than twenty Michelin stars to his name, Robuchon's signature dish was Pommes Purée or mashed potatoes, once saying "I owe everything to these mashed potatoes".
7 Joël Robuchon Dining Concepts
Each dining destination will offer guests a unique culinary experience, featuring distinct themes, entertainment, and flavours.
La Bakery will be the go-to destination for guests to enjoy fresh bakes - savoury and sweet. Although not a lot of details have been unveiled, the renders showcase a modern, chic bakery with white-washed walls.
With views over the Red Sea, La Cocoa will be a sophisticated chocolaterie that the whole family will enjoy. The theme of sweet treats will continue at the dessert salon, La Crème des Desserts. Here sitting on high stools, guests can indulge in some of the most flavourful, delicious and photogenic desserts.
Le Deli will serve up delicious sweet and savoury on-the-go snacks and light dining options to eat at the pool, or to bring home.
Featuring high stools and marbled countertops, Les Bubbles will be reminiscent of a chic French bar. With what seems to be an indoor-outdoor feel, guests visiting La Mer will be able to enjoy a casual yet chic fine dining experience. Whilst, Le Sunset, as the name might suggest will be the perfect perch for sundowner snacks and drinks.
