Jumeirah Burj Al Arab invites guests to experience the essence of Arabian hospitality with the launch of Al Diwan, its first-ever Ramadan tent.
Set against the iconic backdrop of the Burj Al Arab, Al Diwan offers an extraordinary setting and Iftar experience steeped in heritage, designed to evoke a sense of wonder while fostering connection and shared memories. This Ramadan Tent experience will be brought to life in partnership with Nakheel and Meraas, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate.
Under a glittering starlit sky, guests can gather with friends, family, and loved ones to celebrate the Holy Month, indulging in a curated selection of exquisite dishes prepared to inspire the senses. With a selection of indulgent delights crafted by Chef Solayman Hasan, Head Chef of Al Iwan, and his expert team, the very first Ramadan Tent.
Al Diwan will present three distinct rotating Iftar menus, in addition to a separately designed menu for the Suhoor meal. Each dish has been created to reflect Chef Solayman’s passion for elevating traditional Arabic cuisine with a contemporary flair while preserving the authentic flavours the region is known for.
Enhancing the traditional ambiance, guests will be greeted by the inviting aromas of bakhoor and serenaded by live performances from kanoon and an oud musician, adding a touch of cultural elegance to the evening.

Iftar at Al Diwan
The lavish Iftar spread allows guests to select their favourite dishes, from an array of delectable cuisines. From sunset every day, live cooking stations will serve up freshly prepared traditional dishes including delectable chicken shawarmas and a mixed seafood grill, ensuring guests will be able to indulge in a selection of flavours and delights at the lavish buffet-style Iftar, at Al Diwan.
The rotating Iftar menu means that those fasting can enjoy a different and new selection of regional delicacies each time they visit throughout Ramadan, including succulent veal harees, aromatic chicken biryani, vegetable tagine, chicken laban emmo, and batata harra.
Suhoor at Al Diwan
Later on in the evenings, beginning from 10pm daily, guests can enjoy a family-style Suhoor dining experience at Al Diwan. The Suhoor menu will feature a selection of enticing dishes such as slow-cooked lamb ouzi with oriental rice and nuts, and grilled king prawns. A carefully curated à la carte beverage menu alongside an authentic Arabic coffee service is available, ensuring a truly immersive experience.
