Ever since JKS Restaurants announced plans to expand its portfolio to the United Arab Emirates, food lovers across the region have been counting down the days until an opening is announced. That time has come.
Dubai is getting its own first-taste of the iconic brand; its official debut in the UAE.
Gymkhana first entered the Middle East in 2023 with a highly successful opening in Riyadh. Proving popular amongst both residents and tourists, with its prime positioning in VIA Riyadh, the restaurant has built a loyal following of foodies. Further bolstering this regional success, the acclaimed brand is now ready to officially open its doors in Dubai.
Slated to officially open to the public on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the restaurant will be located at Gate Village, Building 7, in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). By day, the bustling business district is recognised as a heaving hub for global financial institutions, but after dark, it transforms completely. Come nightfall, DIFC becomes one of the city's most popular destinations for high-end dining, combining an ever-evolving culinary scene with spectacular views of the Downtown Dubai skyline.

What to Expect
The transition of Gymkhana to Dubai marks the latest chapter of a global success story. The original Mayfair venue in London has been a defining pillar of the UK's fine-dining scene since it first opened in 2013, famously securing its second Michelin star in 2024, and maintaining this status ever since.
Inspired by the elite social and sporting clubs of late 19th-century India, Gymkhana Dubai will span two beautifully designed levels, seating up to 137 guests alongside an outdoor terrace. The ground floor will feature warm lantern lighting, rich timber paneling, and cozy booth seating, while the lower level will introduce mirrored ceilings, ornate chandeliers, and a striking, custom-crafted "peacock bar".
On the plate, executive team leaders have curated a menu that stays fiercely true to the bold, game-forward flavours and layered spices that made London fall in love with the concept. Guests can expect a mix of signature classics — including tandoori-grilled specialties, biryanis, and sharing plates — alongside several exclusive dishes created specifically to suit Dubai’s sophisticated culinary audience.
