From 10-meter slides and elite wave pools, to skate-boarding parks and a nightclub, the new ADRENA district is set to redefine coastal thrills in the Kingdom — and it’s opening to the public sooner than you think
Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind the regenerative tourism destinations The Red Sea and AMAALA, has revealed plans to open a massive adventure and entertainment district. Named ADRENA, the site will be unveiled to the public from March 1, following a soft launch for invited guests beginning February 15.
What is ADRENA?
Inspired by the words ‘adrenaline’, ‘arena’, and ‘dream’, ADRENA is the Kingdom's newest adventure destination.
Located just a short drive from Shura Island, with regular shuttles running between the two, ADRENA is massive: spanning the equivalent of 16 football fields, the new adventure destination features 24 immersive day-and-night activities tailored to diverse interests, moods, and accessibility requirements.
Explore Exciting Adventures
More than a waterpark, ADRENA is slated to become the region's go-to adventure and entertainment district for adventure sports, watersport activities and high-vibe beach clubs. Guided by an expert team, ADRENA provides guests with the chance to pursue new thrills and master action sports within world-class facilities, allowing them to carry their newfound skills from the park out into the wild.
For adrenaline and adventure seekers, the crown jewel of ADRENA is Saudi Arabia’s largest saltwater surf pool; stretching 215 meters long, it generates surfable waves that reach impressive heights of up to 2.1 meters. Other activities on offer, for seasoned adventurers and those trying something new, include wakeboarding, a snorkel trail, an impressive 6-meter-deep diving pool, a fully decked out skatepark, a BMX track, and dedicated areas for beach sports like volleyball and beach football. Doesn't sound adventurous enough? If you're looking for a real thrill and a taste of extreme sports, try the overwater zip line, cliff diving or the 10-meter high ‘slip ‘n’ fly’ slide.

Lifestyle & After Dark Activities
Beyond its high-octane adventures and watersports, ADRENA is designed as a vibrant social hub where the energy continues long after the sun sets. Guests can transition from the thrills of the day to a high-vibe beach club featuring live music and on-site DJs delivering the ultimate nightclub atmosphere. This buzzing destination offers a complete evening experience, rounded out by a selection of food trucks, pop-up stalls, and a curated mocktail menu.
By day, guests can enjoy an infinity pool with sunset views; by night, the beach club transforms with live DJs, rhythmic house music, and South American cuisine. There is something for everyone at ADRENA.
Designed for Everyone to Enjoy
Thoughtfully designed to embrace a variety of different guests, the district aims to be both inclusive and accessible, with zero-depth pool entries and customisable experiences across activities such as bodyboarding, paddleboarding, diving, and snorkelling. Many of its attractions have also been designed for families such as a children’s waterplay area, the Family Splash Zone, Oasis pools, obstacle Course, and Low Adventure. Seamless pathways, selected adaptable equipment, and purpose-trained staff ensure guests with varying needs can confidently enjoy the experience, creating an environment where ADRENA is open to all.
"Our unique adventure and entertainment district isn't just about offering thrilling experiences, it's about embodying the freedom of a coastal lifestyle – the energy, the community, the connection with nature," said John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global. "We've built ADRENA with sustainability at its core, demonstrating our commitment to regenerative tourism and ensuring an unforgettable experience for every guest, day and night."
ADRENA will open to the public on March 1
