World Rally Championship Finale coming to Saudi Arabia for the first time

For the first time in its history, the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) is heading to Saudi Arabia, concluding its 2025 season with a spectacular debut event based in the vibrant Red Sea city of Jeddah.

Scheduled to take place from Tuesday, November 25 to Saturday, November 29, the inaugural Rally Saudi Arabia is not just a new stop on the global circuit, it is the final, decisive round of the championship, guaranteeing maximum drama and high-stakes competition.

Rally Saudi Arabia World Rally Championship 3

The action officially begins on Tuesday with an iconic P1 car parade along the Jeddah Corniche, culminating at the ROSHN Waterfront. The competitive stages commence shortly after, with the event combining the blistering speed of open desert stretches with the unforgiving technicality of rocky terrain .

This rally presents a unique challenge for the world's best drivers, co-drivers, and engineers. Based out of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, the route leads competitors across approximately 320 kilometres of competitive stages, encompassing a diverse surface mix of gravel, sand, and asphalt. The terrain shifts dramatically, moving from wide, flowing gravel roads to abrasive, rougher sections that demand absolute precision and tactical tyre management.

With no historical data or established formbook, teams must adapt quickly to the extreme conditions. The stages will feature challenging elements like blind crests and shifting sand, all set against a cinematic backdrop of Red Sea coastlines and sprawling desert plains. The blend of high-speed sections and punishing rock beds ensures that this rally will be a complete test of skill, endurance, and mechanical fortitude, a true battle for the championship glory.

For the luxury traveler, the event offers front-row access to the elite echelon of global motorsport. Saudi Arabia is already a major host for racing, including Formula 1 and the Dakar Rally. The addition of the WRC further cements the nation's Vision 2030 ambition to become a premier global hub for sport and adventure tourism, promising a sophisticated spectator experience alongside the pulse-pounding action.
