AlUla, the ancient oasis city in Saudi Arabia, is set to once again become a vibrant hub for art and culture with the return of the AlUla Arts Festival.
Returning for its fourth edition the AlUla Arts Festival will take place from January 16 to February 22, 2025. This captivating festival and celebration of creativity will transform the historic desert landscape into an open-air gallery, showcasing the best of local and international contemporary art, dance and music performances in addition to international workshops.
Over four weeks, AlJadidah Arts District and the Wadi Fann area will come alive with a vibrant program of events and exhibitions. Building upon the success of previous editions, the AlUla Arts Festival will feature an array of immersive exhibitions, captivating performances, and interactive workshops.

Top events and exhibit locations of the AlUla Arts Festival 2025:
Visitors can expect to encounter thought-provoking installations, engage with renowned artists, and discover the unique artistic expressions of the region.
Locations -
Gathering Square: Found in the AlJadidah Arts District, the Gathering Square will act as a community hub for the duration of the festival, with talks, workshops and classes taking place.
Wadi Fann: At Wadi Fann visitors will experience a site-specific artistic creation and a number of unique performances, commissioned for the festival.
Madrasat Addeera x Design Space: Two creative hubs unite to present a traditional arts and contemporary space cross over.
ATHR Gallery: The ATHR Gallery showcases the creative works that reflect the "rich tapestry of contemporary artistic expression."

AlKhatt: Celebrating the art of both traditional and contemporary Arabic calligraphy, Al Khatt will display the intricate art in celebratory fashion.
Bayt Al Hams by Tarek Atoui: Bayt Al Hams or The Whispering House is an audio-visual experience unlike any other, an exhibition exploring the relationship between sound and natural materials.
Cinema AlJadidah: From documentaries to feature films and in-depth talks by film experts, Cinema AlJadidah will be the location for a selection of excellently curated films.
Reminiscence - Film and Photograph Exhibition: A public exhibition in AlJadidah Arts District, Reminiscence will feature the work of renowned photographers.
AlUla Art Residency Programme: Watch history, art and culture collide in the open studio-gallery experience, where the six creatives chosen for the AlUla Art Residency Programme showcase their works.
