Looking for a festive way to spend Eid in Makkah? The Hira Cultural District is set to host “Makkah Greets Us”—a six-day celebration filled with cultural, heritage, and entertainment experiences for all ages.
Running from March 31 to April 5 (the second day of Eid Al-Fitr until the seventh of Shawwal), this vibrant event is organised by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites and is designed to bring communities together while showcasing the city’s rich history.
Expect a packed programme including cultural and entertainment experiences inspired by Islamic heritage, live folklore performances capturing the essence of Saudi traditions, and interactive exhibits and historical showcases available in 26 languages.
The events aims to "strengthen community bonds, highlight the historical and cultural significance of Makkah, and provide a unique entertainment environment for families and children," according to the Saudi Press Agency.
