Beginning on Thursday November 28, Noor Riyadh returns to the capital city for its fourth edition.
Launched in March 2021, Noor Riyadh will illuminate the capital city this week with a series of captivating artistic and creative displays across three hubs. The festival’s futuristic and celestial theme, "Light Years Away," promises to transport visitors to otherworldly realms.
Already holding 14 Guinness World Records, Noor Riyadh is an extremely popular event in the city, and this year's edition will run until December 14. Continuing to capture the imagination of visitors and residents, the celebration of light will feature a diverse collection of illuminated art installations, including sculptures, light shows, immersive experiences, kinetic art, in addition to a selection of outdoor displays and drone shows.
As one of the most unique events in the Kingdom's calendar, where all of the artistic and creative exhibits pivot on the shared theme of light, Noor Riyadh attracts artists and art lovers from around the world, by showcasing the diversity and creativity of the global art scene. This year's edition will see nearly 40 creatives from around the globe and across the Kingdom, display their works and creations for the public to see and enjoy.
Three Artistic Hubs in Riyadh
King Abdulaziz Historical Center
Already a destination that embodies and reflects Riyadh's heritage, culture and history, the King Abdulaziz Historical Center will host a number of captivating installations from artists such as Ali Alruzaiza, Rashed AlShashai and Javier Riera, in addition to a selection of curated workshops for both adults and children to enjoy. As visitors explore the iconic Al-Hukm and Murabba palaces, they can witness how art can revitalise history and shape the future, this creative hub will also come alive at night with a selection of incredible evening events and activities.

Wadi Hanifah
Wadi Hanifah, a historic natural landmark, serves as a platform for cultural dialogue on sustainability and our evolving relationship with the Earth. The showcased artworks, by renowned artists like Saad Al Howede, Saeed Gamhawi, Daan Roosegaarde, Kimchi and Chips, and Stanza, explore the intricate connection between humans and nature, highlighting environmental values through their creative expressions.

JAX District
