The count down to Riyadh Season 2024 is already on, and the event announcements are rolling in.
In what is expected to be the biggest and most impressive Riyadh Season celebration to date, this year's 2024 edition, the season's fifth edition, will see the opening of new season zones, internationally renowned exhibitions, massive music gigs and sporting events that will wow.
Mexican WBA Cruiserweight Champion Gilberto 'Zurdo' Ramirez will take on the British WBO Cruiserweight World Champion Chris Billam-Smith for a history-making showdown for both titles, making the winner of this title fight the official Unified WBO and WBA Cruiserweight Champion of the World.
Taking place on Saturday November 16, the aptly named fight night, Latino Night, will take place in one of this season's newest destinations for events and entertainment - The Venue.
The title fight of Latino Night is set to be a tight one as both Ramirez and Billam-Smith have a solid background of impressive wins and knockouts.

This fight has been brought to life by the Minister of Tourism, Chairman of the GEA and Riyadh Season organiser, Turki Al-Alshikh, in partnership with boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions.
Unlike most other Riyadh Season title fights and sporting events, both de la Hoya and Al-Alshikh have agreed that the Latino Night showdown between Ramirez and Billam-Smith will be free to view across the world, on TV and on various streaming platforms. Not only does this invite in fans who didn't get tickets, this agreement will also extend the reach of Riyadh Season and this exciting event to the Latino communities of South America where these athletes are well known.
