With Riyadh Season headline events taking place across the world, namely in both London and Los Angeles, Riyadh Season has officially gone international. It is unsurprising that regardless of the location, the GEA and Riyadh Season team work hard to ensure that these events are memorable moments.
And this is most definitely going to be a memorable night - for both sporting and music fans - as Liam Gallagher is set to warm up the crowd at the Riyadh Season Card: Wembley Edition this September.
When, where and how can I get tickets?
The Riyadh Season team is adept at aligning massive music performances with internationally sought after sporting events.
Liam Gallagher has been lined up to perform ahead of the all-British title fight which is set to take place as part of the Riyadh Season international events calendar on September 21 at London's Wembley Stadium. Notably this event is planned to take place just days ahead of the official opening event of Riyadh Season 2024 in the Kingdom's capital.
For those who don't know (how could you not!?), Liam Gallagher is one half of the iconic rock band, Oasis. It has been speculated that the rock star will perform three Oasis classic hits which will no doubt liven up the crowd ahead of the IBF World Heavyweight title fight, between boxing giants Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.
Tickets for Liam Gallagher's once off performance at London's Wembley Stadium are now on sale, prices start from £75.60 each (plus taxes and fees). This gig could perhaps be welcome news for Oasis fans who might have missed out on tickets to the recently announced tour, of the now reformed brotherly duo.
Riyadh Season Card: Wembley Edition
Although declared a sell-out, an additional number of tickets were made available for the Joshua vs. Dubois championship and title fight, and have just gone on sale. Again prices start from £75.60 each (plus taxes and fees), and tickets for the Riyadh Season London fight are available to purchase here.
Music and Riyadh Season Sporting Events
This will not the first time we have seen Riyadh Season open sporting events with performances from arena-worthy performers.
To kick off Riyadh Season in October 2023 and the historic boxing match between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou, the Riyadh Season stage welcomed a star-studded lineup. High-octane electro-DJ Skrillex, American rapper Lil Baby, and performers Becky G and Flowdan each delivered electrifying sets before the main event, dubbed 'The Battle of the Baddest.'
In early August of this year, American icon Eminem performed ahead of the Terence 'Bud' Crawford vs. Israil Madrimov face off in Los Angeles, marking Riyadh Season's first international event. This fight saw Crawford take home both the WBA & WBO Titles for World Championship for Super-Welterweight.
More recently, in May 2024, American rap artist, JID, was welcomed to the stage to liven up the crowd ahead of what would become one of the tightest matches of Riyadh Season so far. Tthe split decision clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, saw Fury lose his title belts to Usyk in Riyadh.
