The Sea Nights festival lights up Jeddah’s waterfront

The Sea Nights festival kicked off this week as part of Jeddah Season, transforming the city’s corniche into a lively celebration of Arab culture, art and entertainment. Running until May 27, the festival brings together artists, performers and creatives from across the Arab world—offering something for every kind of visitor.

The atmosphere is a mix of traditional and modern. Expect folkloric dance performances, dazzling acrobatics, and family-friendly programming that includes art workshops and cultural showcases. As day turns to night, immersive light and visual shows take centre stage, set against the soundtrack of Arabic rhythms echoing over the sea.

The decor weaves together design influences from the Arab world, Africa, and Asia, creating a vivid and eclectic visual journey. And for those looking to relax between the action, the site includes an indoor lounge and sea-facing café.

It’s not all about the stage, either. Festivalgoers can take part in sports competitions, with football and beach volleyball drawing big crowds—making the most of the waterfront setting.

Head down to the waterfront and enjoy a night of culture, fun and festivity during Jeddah Season.
