The legendary Slava’s Snowshow lands at Bakr Al Sheddi Theater from May 15 to 24, offering up 13 unforgettable performances filled with dreamy visuals, flying characters, and magical snowstorms that spill into the audience.
Created by Russian artist Slava Polunin, this surreal, wordless performance has toured the globe for decades — scooping up over 25 awards, including a Laurence Olivier and a Tony nomination. Since its debut, it’s drawn more than 12 million fans into its strange, snowy world.
At the center of the action is Assissai, a silent clown in an oversized yellow suit, as he floats, stumbles and wanders through scenes of absurdity and beauty. There’s no storyline, just a cascade of moments that swing from hilarious to heartbreakingly tender.
The show runs from 8PM most evenings, with afternoon matinees on weekends. Tickets start at SAR150, with VIP seats offering interactive extras like flying balls, bubbles and bursts of snow.
