The Kingdom has officially launched HUMAIN Chat, the country’s first conversational AI chatbot designed specifically for Arabic speakers.
Developed by HUMAIN, the chatbot is powered by ALLAM 34B — currently the most advanced Arabic large language model ever built. This future forward thinking marks a significant milestone in the Kingdom’s push to lead in sovereign AI technologies, aligning with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030.
Said to be "fluent in Islamic culture, values and heritage," the HUMAIN Chat is available on web, and via an app on iOS, and Android platforms, and supports fluid bilingual conversations in Arabic and English.

It also understands multiple regional dialects, including Egyptian, Gulf, and Levantine Arabic, allowing users to switch languages mid-conversation and receive real-time, search-integrated responses. The chatbot is hosted entirely within Saudi Arabia, ensuring full compliance with the country’s Personal Data Protection Law and reinforcing national data sovereignty.
The ALLAM 34B model was trained on over eight petabytes of data — the largest Arabic dataset assembled to date — and developed by a team of more than 120 AI specialists, including 35 PhD holders. HUMAIN Chat is the first product in a broader portfolio of AI solutions aimed at governments, businesses, and creators across the Arab world.
According to the website, HUMAIN Chat powered by ALLAM 34B has been designed for real-world use, and includes:
- Real-time web search for always up-to-date knowledge.
- Arabic speech input across multiple dialects.
- Seamless bilingual switching between Arabic and English within the same conversation.
- Conversation sharing to enable collaboration and reuse.
- Full compliance with Saudi PDPL, hosted end-to-end on HUMAIN infrastructure in the Kingdom.
