The countdown to one of the world’s most anticipated esports tournaments has officially begun.
Returning to Riyadh on July 10, the official launch of the Esports World Cup 2025 will be ushered in with a high-profile opening ceremony, and a selection of world-class musicians taking to the stage for a night of top-notch entertainment.
With Post Malone already confirmed as the headlining act, and ticket selling out quickly, two more globally renowned acts have been announced!
Alesso, the Swedish DJ known for his hits and high-energy festival sets, is bringing his electronic music scene and signature sound in Riyadh, with a custom set crafted for the global gaming audience. Joining him on stage is Tina Guo, the Grammy-nominated cellist with captivating electric cello performances.
Guo is no stranger to stages, as she’s worked on soundtracks for Dune, Inception, and Wonder Woman, toured with Hans Zimmer, and even played with Metallica.
The Esports World Cup 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting and intriguing events of the summer. Slated to span from July 7 through to August 24, more than 2000 of the world's best esport players and teams, hailing from from over 100 countries and 200 clubs, will compete in 25 high-stakes games. With massive monetary prizes on the cards, this competition is more than just an esports event - it is shaping up to be a cultural moment for egaming fans everywhere.
