Luxury hospitality brand Aman has announced an exciting expansion into Saudi Arabia with two new properties in partnership with Diriyah Company.
Just 20 minutes from the capital city, Diriyah is the original home-place of the Saudi Arabian Royal Family, and was once the nation's original capital, the destination has long been admired by local and international tourists for its traditional mud-brick architecture and ancient structures. It is also home to one of the Kingdom's UNESCO Heritage Sites, At-Turaif.
With a commitment to providing unparalleled experiences, Aman resorts are synonymous with opulence, offering guests a harmonious blend of exceptional service, breathtaking natural surroundings, and meticulously designed escapes.
As part of Saudi Vision 2030, Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) is working to transform 11 square kilometres of Diriyah into a pedestrian-centric hub, whilst at the same time, highlighting the rich history of the country. With this in mind a number of international hospitality brands have pledged their commitment to the region, with promise of luxurious destinations that will illuminate and embrace the local area whilst offering indulgent stays.

Aman Wadi Safar, nestled in the breathtaking desert landscape near Riyadh, will offer guests an unparalleled retreat. The resort will feature 78 guest rooms, exclusive Aman-branded residences, a world-class spa, and diverse dining options. Drawing inspiration from the region's natural beauty and cultural heritage, Aman Wadi Safar will redefine desert luxury.
Joining Aman Wadi Safar is Janu Diriyah, a vibrant sister brand that embodies a sense of community and shared experiences. Located near the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At-Turaif, Janu Diriyah will offer 120 hotel rooms, a wellness spa, and an array of dining and social spaces. The property will be an indulgent hub for like-minded travellers seeking a dynamic and connected stay.

Both properties at the UNESCO Site are slated to open in 2026, marking a significant milestone for Aman Group and Diriyah Company. This strategic partnership further underscores Saudi Arabia's emergence as a global luxury destination for local and international visitors.
It was also announced in January of this year that Aman will also lead a project in AlUla, comprising three distinct luxury experiences. Guests can look forward to an ultra-luxurious desert retreat, a tented wellness escape, and a ranch-style sanctuary. The main resort is set to open in 2025, followed by the wellness retreat in 2026, with the ranch-style concept under the Janu brand arriving in 2027. This ambitious undertaking solidifies Aman's commitment to offering unparalleled luxury experiences in Saudi Arabia's breathtaking landscapes.
