On December 16, the maiden voyage of Saudi Arabia's new line AROYA Cruises is set to depart from Jeddah on an itinerary that includes stops in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan.
Saudi Arabia's inaugural cruiser, AROYA Manara is set to launch for a three-day trip on December 16 with a star-studded lineup of Saudi talent: legendary singer Abadi Al Johar and rising star Zaina Emad will perform live on board, offering passengers on the inaugural journey a unique and unforgettable experience.
Backed by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), Cruise Saudi is the first Arabian-based and owned cruise company which will offer guests the ability to explore and experience the Red Sea and wider GCC region (and beyond) from the comfort of a luxury liner.
The maiden voyage, set to depart from Jeddah for a three-night cruise on the Red Sea. The seven-year old ship was once part of the Norwegian Cruises fleet, and has since been completely revamped. The 335-metre floating luxury resort boasts 1678 cabins, including suites and balcony cabins with breathtaking views of the sea, the ship is set to redefine cruising in the region.
The inaugural trip, a three-night cruise, will take passengers to the first private island in the Red Sea, offering a truly exclusive experience. With 20 different entertainment venues, including a 1,000-seat theatre, where guests can enjoy a variety of live performances, shows, and movies. Not only will passengers be able to enjoy the very first official journey on AROYA Manara, they will also be treated to exceptional performances from two Saudi Arabian music industry maestros: renowned Saudi musicians Abadi Al Johar and Zaina Emad.
Beginning his professional music career in 1968, Abadi Al Johar, is a legendary figure in Saudi music. Often referred to as 'Akhtabout al-Oud' (the Octopus of the Oud) due to his exceptional oud mastery, Al Johar will grace the stage with his timeless melodies and soulful compositions. Zaina Emad is undoubtedly a rising star in Saudi's music scene. Set to captivate audiences with her powerful vocals and distinctive style, Emad brings a modern edge and sound to traditional Arab music.
