Rising above the vibrant heart of Hangzhou, the Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou Centre offers a dazzling blend of metropolitan sophistication and cultural reverence. Occupying the upper floors of the iconic Hangzhou Centre, this hotel is a sleek, vertical sanctuary that perfectly frames the city's ancient waterways and modern dynamism. It delivers an incomparable luxury experience, where world-class dining, advanced wellness, and panoramic views of two UNESCO World Heritage sites redefine the city escape: The Grand Canal that winds throughout the city, and the expansive West Lake.

The skyscraper hotel is ideal base for the any traveller, be they on a business trip or a luxury exploration of China's most poetic city, the Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou Centre combines the brand’s signature polish and personalised service with a sky-high location.

The hotel's prime location in the heart of Hangzhou's central business district and its major metro interchange, offering unparalleled urban connectivity. Its prominent position allows visitors instant access to the Hangzhou Centre Shopping Mall, and is a short walk to the very popular night market on Women's Street, and the popular, family-friendly Qianjiang New City Light Show.

The building itself is a contemporary high-rise that houses the hotel on floors 1st, 8th, 10th, and 18th – 30th, giving guests a privileged perspective over the city. The hotel directly overlooks the UNESCO-listed Grand Canal, with the equally famous West Lake just a short 15-minute drive away, granting views of both of Hangzhou's iconic landmarks.

For international visitors, Hangzhou is served by direct flights from both Riyadh and Dubai from either Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH) and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG). A private car or taxi transfer typically takes about 40–45 minutes, depending on traffic. For quick local access, the Wulin Square Metro Station (Lines 1 and 3) is just steps away, connecting directly to the Hangzhou East Railway Station in about 17 minutes.

The Background

The Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou Centre holds the distinction of being the brand's second property in this storied city, arriving as a modern, urban counterpoint to its tranquil, lakeside sister hotel. It officially opened its doors in September 2024, occupying the top layers of the Hangzhou Centre complex, a vertical metropolis designed for seamless business and leisure.

The design, overseen by Avalon Collective, is deliberately contemporary and urban, yet soothing, drawing on the theme of 'The Theoretics of Water' to connect the sleek interiors with Hangzhou's heritage as a city of canals and lakes. It features 214 rooms and suites threaded with a rotating collection of contemporary Chinese artworks, blending timeless Four Seasons elegance with a high-tech, modern aesthetic tailored for the demands of the 21st-century traveller.

It’s the chicest, most sophisticated high-rise hotel in Hangzhou. You’re right in the centre of all the action and directly connected to the best shopping, but you feel completely secluded up high with those insane, floor-to-ceiling views of the Grand Canal and West Lake—it's utterly cinematic. The Michelin-starred food is incredible, and the indoor pool on the 18th floor is a dream. Honestly, the service is flawless, and the rooms have all the high-end touches, like Guerlain products and a Dyson Airstrait. It’s an elevated, modern city escape defined by classic Four Seasons luxury.
