Miraval The Red Sea

On the tranquil shores of Shura Island, at the heart of one of the Kingdom’s most pristine natural destinations, Miraval The Red Sea is set to open in early 2026, introducing a distinct vision of luxury travel where wellness and mindfulness take precedence over the pace of modern life.

As the brand's first international destination outside the United States, the debut of Miraval The Red Sea marks a significant milestone for both the brand itself. and Saudi Arabia’s burgeoning luxury hospitality landscape. Set along the Kingdom's pristine Red Sea coastline, the resort reflects a broader vision to redefine travel, transforming the typical luxury stay into an immersive "inner journey" that prioritises holistic wellness and self-discovery.

As an adults-only, all-inclusive retreat, any stay includes all meals and beverages, in addition to a daily resort credit of SAR 700, which is redeemable on spa treatments, bespoke experiences or the gift shop.

The Design

Miraval the Red Sea 9

Spanning an impressive and gigantic three million square feet, Miraval The Red Sea lies within a protected natural reserve rich in mangroves, lagoons, and crystal-clear waters. Designed by the famed and future forward architectural firm, Foster + Partners, together with elegant interiors by Rockwell Group, the resort reflects a carefully considered balance between contemporary architecture and organic forms inspired by the surrounding environment.

Designed as a sanctuary for rest and reflection, the soon-to-open wellness resort will feature 180 thoughtfully appointed rooms, suites, and villas. Each space utilises natural tones and calming materials to create a sense of tranquility, while private terraces offer sweeping views of the serene landscape — inviting guests to pause, unwind, and reconnect with the natural world.

Immersive & holistic wellness

At Miraval, wellness is not offered as an add-on, but embraced as a way of life.

Wellness Experiences

Guided by a pre-arrival preferences sheet, each guest will enjoy a thoughtfully curated wellness selection, with each experience brought to life by expert practitioners. From slow meditation and stretching yoga sessions at the Serenity Centre, to more purposeful and dynamic movements of Pilates and other mindful movement classes at the Body Awareness Centre, to water-based activities such as kayaking and paddle-boarding that harness the therapeutic qualities of the sea.

For those seeking a more challenging experience, the resort’s Challenge Course focuses on building mental resilience and strengthening communication skills.

Holistic Spa

At the heart of the resort lies the Life in Balance Spa, spanning 3,000 square meters and featuring 39 treatment rooms, alongside pools, traditional Hammams, salt rooms, and open-air wellness suites. Seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces, the spa mirrors the natural rhythms of the Red Sea, offering programmes designed to restore balance, clarity, and a renewed sense of calm.

Locally Focussed Dining

The culinary experience reflects the resort’s wellness philosophy under the guidance of Executive Chef Hamdy Hassan. From all-day dining at Rosemary to light bites at Palm Court and appetisers at Coral Cove, menus showcase seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Interactive cooking workshops and personalised dining experiences further enhance a mindful approach to nourishment — without compromising on flavour or pleasure.

A New Destination for Regenerative Travel

As its opening draws closer, Miraval The Red Sea is poised to become the region’s premier destination for wellness-focused and regenerative travel. The resort invites guests to consciously disconnect from the pressures of daily life, offering a deeply balanced experience immersed in the extraordinary beauty of the Kingdom's natural surroundings. As part of Hyatt Hotels’ global portfolio, the resort represents a new chapter for the Miraval brand, bringing its philosophy of mindful living to one of the world’s most beautiful coastal environments.
