Although reservations were initially opened and available online for stays starting November 1, that booking option was discontinued just a week later. The opening date remains planned for November, according to a statement List has received, but since an exact launch day cannot yet be confirmed, all online booking for the month of November has been temporarily suspended.
Slated to be a new architectural masterpiece is set to grace the Saudi Arabian coast, as the SLS The Red Sea aims to elevate the meaning of a luxury getaway in the region.

Part of one of the world’s most ambitious regenerative developments, the Red Sea development, once completed will cover an area of approximately 28,000 square kilometres. And right at the beating heart of the regenerative project is Shura Island.

Hailing from Southwark in London, Seabird is a popular and stylish rooftop restaurant that has been celebrated for its stunning panoramic views of the London skyline and its fresh, coastal-inspired cuisine. And now, Seabird will make its debut in Saudi Arabia, at SLS The Red Sea, echoing the panoramic views but with a unique Saudi twist. Expected to bring the fresh, Mediterranean flavours of Spain and Portugal to the Red Sea, this will undoubtedly be a popular booking for guests.
Another option for diners will be Floating World. It is anticipated that this restaurant will lean into Japanese tradition, but with a twist, dishes unfolding almost like performances, inspired by Edo-era culture.
Dubai's ever-popular Fi’lia, a modern Italian restaurant will also be making its first Saudi appearance at SLS The Red Sea. And for slower moments of relaxation, Café Deluxe will offer guests the opportunity to indulge in coffee crafted from specially sourced beans, while a high-end mocktail bar, Birch, is planned to take on the golden hour moments by the pool.
