Slated to open in 2028, this indulgent destination will be the brand's first location in Singapore.
A global hub for business, trade and luxury travel, Aman Singapore will be positioned at an exceptionally rare crossroads in the city centre. Aman Singapore will sit at the intersection of the Central Business District (CBD), the famous Marina Bay, and the future Greater Southern Waterfront, offering sweeping views of the city skyline and the South China Sea. It aims to deliver the brand's signature DNA of privacy, exceptional service, and tranquility within a vibrant city setting.
Akin to other Aman city locations, such as Aman Nai Lert in Bangkok, the vision for the first Singapore location is to create a quintessential "urban sanctuary," translating the brand's signature tranquil ethos from its remote resorts into the vertical environment of a skyscaper. The property will not only host a hotel but also a limited collection of Aman Branded Residences and an exclusive, by-invitation-only Aman Club.
Location and Design
The Aman Singapore will be situated within The Skywaters at 8 Shenton Way, as part of the a brand new 63-storey mixed-use skyscraper, which is set to become the tallest building in Singapore upon completion.
The interior architecture, entrusted to longtime Aman collaborators Kerry Hill Architects, is expected to deliver a serene and harmonious aesthetic. The design inspiration reportedly draws heavily from Singapore's distinct Black and White Colonial Bungalows.
Guests can anticipate a feeling of peace and stillness achieved through a refined material palette, which will likely include natural woods, crisp white walls, and layered textures. The overall vibe will be one of discreet, spacious luxury, emphasising privacy and an escape from the city's intensity, despite being anchored within its financial heart. The tower itself is being engineered with sustainable elements, including vertical greenery and landscaped terraces, which will contribute to the hotel’s "Garden City" feel.
Suites and Spa
Similar to other Aman destinations, Aman Singapore will showcase world-class amenities reserved exclusively for hotel guests, residence owners, and club members, and of course, the Aman Spa.
The hotel will feature a dedicated floor for its luxury hotel accommodations. While the exact number of rooms and suites remains under wraps, it is anticipated that this number will be small, with the focus is entirely on size of the suites and the exclusivity of the location. The hotel suites are touted to be among the largest in all of Singapore, affording guests magnificent sweeping views of the city skyline and the South China Sea through expansive windows. This commitment to generosity of space is a signature of the brand's philosophy, ensuring a retreat-like atmosphere even at great height.
Similar to other Aman addition to the hotel suites, the development will include Aman Residences ranging from one- to five-bedroom layouts, providing permanent sky-high homes with access to all hotel amenities. And as many will expect, and be looking forward to, the brand has confirmed that the new Singapore outpost will feature a comprehensive Aman Spa. Although full details are yet to be confirmed, it has been said that this spa is set to span an entire floor, featuring treatment suites, fitness areas, and an impressive infinity-edged pool dramatically perched above the cityscape.
Pricing
While official nightly rates for the hotel suites have not been disclosed, they are expected to set a new benchmark for Singapore luxury. Given the price points of other urban Aman properties — such as Aman Tokyo starting around $3,000 per night and Aman Nai Lert Bangkok beginning near $2,200 — initial rates for Aman Singapore are projected to be in a similar, ultra-premium range, positioning it for the most discerning and affluent global traveller.
