Riyadh Season's Most Popular Dates for International Visitors Revealed
According to the data released by Expedia the most popular travel and hotel dates being searched for in Riyadh, on the booking platform by international and regional travellers are: October 20, November 1, and December 20.
Unsurprisingly, the dates that have emerged as the top timings for international tourists seeking to experience the excitement and festivities of Riyadh Season, each surround some of the most exciting moments on the Riyadh Season calendar for 2024, particularly in October.
These most searched dates can be linked to the Riyadh Season 2024 opening night celebrations and the IV Crown Showdown between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol on October 12, American stand-up Martin Lawrence: Y'All Know What It Is at the Baker Al Sheddi Theatre on October 18, Battle of the Giants: Brace for Impact - Francis Ngannou v. Renan Ferreria on October 19, and the 6 Kings Slam tennis battle at The Venue from October 16 - 20.
Other popular dates include the first week of November. These dates coincide with the expected opening date of Riyadh Zoo on October 30, in addition to the launch of Wonder Garden on November 7, alongside mid-November's Latino Night - the much anticipated title fight to determine the official Unified WBO and WBA Cruiserweight Champion of the World.

According to the same data set released by Expedia, the opening night of Riyadh Season 2024 - and the opening fight night of the IV Crown Showdown between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol - has seen a 150% increase in search traffic for hotels in Riyadh.
The booking platform unveiled the top five most popular hotels in Riyadh being booked for Riyadh Season. The bookings include two properties that opened earlier in 2024.
