Exceeding all predictions and expectations, it was revealed that in 2023, the Kingdom saw a 32 per cent growth in tourism numbers, with more than 100 million people visiting Saudi.
In May, it was announced at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, that Saudi Arabia is the second most popular international destination for MENA travellers, according to recent data. Saudi's enduring allure attracts travellers from around the world seeking unique experiences and luxurious hotels, alongside the national pride in traditional Saudi heritage.

Originally, the figure of 100 million visitors to Saudi Arabia was a pivotal point of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 plan. However, as the Kingdom's tourism numbers soar and this incredible number has already been achieved this target a full seven years early, Vision 2030 was updated to aim for 150 million tourists by 2030.
These tourism figures will undoubtedly be achieved, particularly with the opening a number of mind-blowing luxury resorts such as Six Senses Southern Dunes, Nujuma and The St. Regis Red Sea Resort coming to life in the Red Sea region, the incredible sporting events taking place all across the country and in the capital city, and the Kingdom becoming a recognised destination for indulgent dining in the GCC, with several impressive new openings such as Marina Social by Jason Atherton in Jeddah, LPM and Scott's in Riyadh.
