From lively cities to serene landscapes, Faisal Sheraiff’s childhood unfolded across Saudi’s diverse regions, immersing him in the Kingdom’s rich cultural experiences. But it was his father’s globetrotting career that truly shaped his formative years.
After high school, Faisal headed to the UK to pursue a degree in marketing, a pivotal experience that laid the groundwork for his professional ambitions. Returning to Riyadh, he found the perfect opportunity to hone his skills in an advertising company, setting the stage for the next chapter of his life.
Today, Faisal is a popular content creator, sharing videos, tips, and travel advice. “Travel is not just a hobby for me, but a way to communicate with the world and pass on my experiences to others. Through the content I provide, I wish to inspire people and encourage them to explore the world and achieve their dreams,” he says.
Promising Futures
With an eye on the world, Faisal still finds his way back to Riyadh, describing Saudi’s bustling capital as a city that perfectly blends authenticity and development. “Riyadh holds a special place in my heart. That’s why I chose to return here after completing my studies in Britain and the US. For me, it was a place where I could start my professional journey and establish my company,” he explains.
Exploring the Capital City
When it comes to his favourite spots in Riyadh, Faisal highlights five must-visit places: the historic Diriyah with its unique Najdi architectural designs, the towering skyscrapers of King Abdullah Financial District, the high-end restaurants and shops in VIA Riyadh, the vibrant entertainment and shopping hub of Boulevard City, and the serene Riyadh desert. “I love visiting the desert as it gives me a feeling of calmness and relaxation away from all the city’s busyness,” he shares.
Cross-Cultural Travel
After earning his master’s degree in the US, Faisal embarked on a career as a content creator in Saudi. His love for travel serves as a wellspring of inspiration, allowing him to learn about new cultures and broaden his horizons. Having visited 54 countries so far, he aims to explore 100 within the next 25 years. “Travelling gives me the opportunity to talk to people and learn about new cultures. Not a fan of visiting the same country twice, I seek to explore new and unfamiliar places,” he says.
Life Transformations
Faisal’s decision to become a full-time content creator has allowed him to spend more time with his family, striking a balance between his personal and professional life. “Spending time with the family is a plus point I’ve gained recently. In the last 10 years, managing the company required a lot of time,” he notes.
Memorable Experiences
Among the many places he’s visited across the globe, Bali in Indonesia stands out as a favourite, captivating him with its stunning beaches and landscapes. Faisal also recalls his journey through the Balkan countries, where he undertook a nine-day car trip across seven nations. “Travelling undoubtedly gave me an unparalleled opportunity to learn and discover,” he reflects.
