Amangati will be Aman's first leap from land to sea

For over three decades, Aman has been the quiet heartbeat of ultra-luxury travel — crafting sanctuaries for the discerning traveller in the world’s most serene landscapes, from secluded alpine retreats to immersive desert hideaways.

Now, the brand known for its devotion to peace, privacy, and presence is charting a bold new course: the open sea.

Amangati Aman Cruise 1

Amangati, Aman’s first luxury yacht will set sail in 2027. The 180-metre yacht has been designed to mimic the soft ripples of the Mediterranean and expertly equipped to navigate secluded destinations and effortlessly slip into storied, time-honoured harbours.

Named after the Sanskrit phrase for “peaceful motion,” Amangati is more than a vessel, it’s a floating embodiment of Aman’s pivotal philosophies. Designed in collaboration with Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design and built by T. Mariotti S.p.A. in Genoa, Italy, the large motor yacht (akin to a miniature cruise ship) promises a transformative experience at sea, echoing the elegance and peacefulness of Aman’s land-based resorts.

The Suites

With just 47 expansive suites, across five tiers of indulgence, each featuring private balconies, ashwood floors, travertine baths, and linen-covered walls, Amangati offers unmatched intimacy and immersion. Guests of all tiers will come under the unobtrusive care of a personal Host to complete the experience.

With soaring 2.3-metre ceilings, the Amangati will embrace the brand's sleek Japandi design aesthetic, with a palette of neutrals, clean lines and wooden accents ensuring the space feels calming, effortless, and elevated all at once. Each suite will be equipped with spa-inspired bathrooms. Floor-to-ceiling windows and generous private terraces offer uninterrupted views of the aquamarine Mediterranean, seamlessly dissolving the boundary between ocean and sky, welcoming the brilliance of day and the quiet serenity of night.

For those lucky enough to be onboard the inaugural cruise in spring of 2027, will sail through the Mediterranean’s most storied harbours and hidden anchorages, experiencing the golden hour glamour of sunsets on the French Riviera and the mythic beauty of the Greek Isles, with curated itineraries balancing cultural depth, coastal beauty and abundant restfulness.
