Part of the ultra-exclusive Wadi Safar masterplan, Amansamar will be a luxury sanctuary on the outskirts of Riyadh, and the first Aman destination to open in the Kingdom. Derived from the Sanskrit sarn~a (refuge) and samar (evening conversation under the desert sky), the destination will feature a high-design resort and private branded residences set among rolling desert valleys and UNESCO-adjacent heritage terrain. Blending signature Aman minimalism with traditional Najdi architectural cues, Amansamar will anchor the gated equestrian and lifestyle enclave, offering ultra-private villas, an expansive Aman Spa, and direct access to Greg Norman-designed championship golf and world-class equestrian facilities.

The Chedi Wadi Safar

Details: 85 rooms and suites and 20 branded residences

Slated to be the brand's second Saudi outpost, The Chedi Wadi Safar will an ultra-luxury retreat comprising 80 hotel rooms and 20 private branded residences. Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) in collaboration with KCA International, the property interprets traditional Najdi architectural forms through a contemporary, minimalist lens. Set along the valley’s natural terrain, the resort overlooks the Greg Norman-designed 27-hole championship golf course and features a signature spa, fine dining, and direct access to the destination’s Royal Equestrian & Polo Club.

Faena Residences Wadi Safar

Details: 130 rooms and suites and 20 branded residences

Faena Residences Wadi Safar is set to be an art-driven residential enclave comprising 20 fully serviced, four- to six-bedroom private villas alongside a 130-key luxury resort. Developed in collaboration with visionary brand founder Alan Faena and Accor, the project interprets traditional Najdi mudbrick architecture through a contemporary, high-design lens. Each standalone villa is curated as a distinct canvas featuring custom artwork, stone, and bespoke textiles, opening directly onto landscaped gardens and the valley's terrain. Designed as a cultural hub within the gated masterplan, the estate offers complete in-villa hotel services alongside direct access to the Greg Norman-designed 27-hole championship golf course, the Royal Equestrian & Polo Club, live performance spaces, and an expansive spa.

Montage Residences Wadi Safar

Details: 200 rooms and suites and 30 branded residences

Marking the Middle East debut for California-born luxury brand Montage Hotels & Resorts, Montage Residences Wadi Safar will comprise a private collection of 30 branded villas situated alongside a 200-room-and-suite resort within Diriyah Company’s exclusive Wadi Safar masterplan west of Riyadh. The development will integrate contemporary Najdi architectural cues, characterised by earthen tones, heavy stonework, and local design motifs, into a high-end residential framework. Villa owners gain complete access to the integrated resort's resort-style pool areas, signature dining concepts, and an expansive Montage Spa.

The Oberoi Sukoonvilas, Wadi Safar

Details: 60 villas and 10 branded residences

Marking the entry of India's prestigious Oberoi Hotels & Resorts into Saudi Arabia, The Oberoi Sukoonvilas is set within Diriyah Company’s masterplanned Wadi Safar district west of Riyadh. Rooted in the Sanskrit concept of tranquility (sukoon), the luxury resort is designed as a sanctuary of wellness and refined hospitality, blending modern Najdi architectural principles with low-slung, earthen-hued structures that echo the natural desert valley.

Six Senses Wadi Safar

Set across 49 acres atop a hilltop within the much-anticipated gated Wadi Safar community, Six Senses Wadi Safar will comprise of five low-rise clusters to maximise valley views and privacy. Inspired by traditional Najdi palatial architecture and ancient regional trade gathering spots, the resort pairs earthen structural design with signature wellness and sustainability programming, including a dedicated 12,920-square-foot Six Senses Spa featuring biohacking suites, a hammam, and specialised recovery rooms. Culinary outlets centre on local and seasonal sharing plates — anchored by a main pool-facing restaurant, a signature dining venue, a grill, and a brew bar—alongside an artisan souk-style boutique, an outdoor amphitheater, an Earth Lab for desert conservation.

WELL Hotel Wadi Safar

Details: 110 rooms and 23 branded residences

WELL Hotel Wadi Safar will be the wellness focussed hospitality brand's first opening in Saudi Arabia. Rooted in holistic longevity and preventative health, the property pairs contemporary Najdi architecture; natural stone, low-slung earthen forms, and open-air courtyards, will combine with with advanced wellness diagnostics, organic dining, and personalised recovery programs. Surrounded by native desert terrain and 42 kilometres of outdoor leisure trails, the resort serves as a quiet refuge focused on physical, mental, and environmental well-being.

Signature Golf Course

Designed by legend Greg Norman, over a sprawling 630,000 square metre area, this new course will see one 18-hole championship golf course open alongside a dedicated 9-hole academy course. Golf lovers will also find a driving range, and a comprehensive short-game practice area. 

Polo & Equestrian 

Designed for elite riders and spectating alike, the complex houses 259 stables, four equestrian fields, and two polo grounds alongside a full-service riding school. At the center sits a multi-tier clubhouse featuring a pro shop, dining spots, and exclusive VIP lounges.

Guests can explore 42 kilometres of scenic trails — ideal for walking, hiking, cycling, or horse-riding — while younger visitors are catered to across dedicated outdoor parks and play areas.
