Found between desert dunes and turquoise lagoons of the Red Sea, the adults-only retreat translates Miraval’s thirty-year "Life in Balance" philosophy into a uniquely Middle Eastern context, blending intentional mindfulness with the rich cultural heritage of the region.
The architectural vision, brought to life by Foster + Partners with interiors by Rockwell Group, features 180 guestrooms, suites, and villas that appear to emerge naturally from the landscape. Drawing inspiration from coral forms and desert tones, the design utilises natural stone, warm woods, and woven textures to create a serene, open-air environment. At the heart of the resort lies a signature contemplative labyrinth, a dedicated space for walking meditation designed to encourage guests to slow down and reset from the moment they arrive.
Central to the guest journey at Miraval is the Life in Balance Spa. At Miraval The Red Sea, the spa space will span a jaw-dropping 40,000 square feet, standing out as the largest dedicated wellness facility on Shura Island. Within the holistic sanctuary, guests can luxuriate in the 39 private treatment rooms, whilst experiencing Miraval’s signature therapies are enriched by local traditions, including specialised Hammam rituals, desert-inspired scrubs and wellness treatments.
