According to Wego, the trend reflects growing demand for destinations offering value, varied experiences and opportunities for extended summer holidays.

Commenting on the findings, Mamoun Hmidan, Chief Business Officer at Wego, said: “Saudi travellers are approaching summer travel with a clear focus on convenience, value, and meaningful experiences. We’re seeing strong interest in destinations that are easy to reach, offer excellent connectivity, and provide a wide variety of experiences for families, couples, and groups of friends. While ease of travel remains an important consideration, travellers are ultimately choosing destinations that allow them to make the most of their time away, whether that’s exploring vibrant cities, enjoying nature, or discovering new cultures.”
