As Saudi Arabia’s flagship cultural celebration returns for its sixth edition, Riyadh Season 2025 is set to deliver a lineup of world-class events that spans sport, spectacle, and stand-up.

Cementing its status as a world-class entertainment destination and annual season of festivities, Riyadh Season 2025 (officially starting on October 10) is set to roll out a blockbuster lineup, across 14 immersive zones at the event season which is at heart of Saudi Arabia’s cultural renaissance.

From much-anticipated and historic boxing bouts in addition to elite international tennis tournaments, to groundbreaking streaming partnerships and the debut of a global comedy festival, this year’s calendar reflects the Kingdom’s bold ambitions and growing influence on the international stage.

Abu Dhabi Comedy Season 2025

For the first time ever, Riyadh Season will host the Riyadh Comedy Festival, welcoming 50 of the world’s top comedians. Slated to be the biggest comedy festival on the plant, the world class lineup is set to include Aziz Ansari, Pete Davidson, Kevin Hart, Tom Segura, and Russell Peters, among others. Set against the backdrop of Boulevard City, the festival blends global humour and incredible events with local hospitality, aligning with the Kingdom's pillars of Vision 2030.

For one night only, musical maestro Mohamed Abdo — dubbed "The Artist of the Arabs" across the Arab world — will take to the stage in the concert hall that bears his name. This highly esteemed Saudi singer and composer began his career in the early 1960s, playing a pivotal role in popularising and preserving Khaleeji (Gulf) music, particularly through traditional songs called mawrouth (inherited songs).

There are two distinct, though related, events with "Joy" in the name: the Joy Forum (a business and industry event) and the Joy Awards (a celebrity-studded awards ceremony). The Joy Forum is designed to bring together leading entertainment executives and professionals for high-level discussions, networking, and industry partnerships. It is described as a major congress for the entertainment sector. American content creator MrBeast, UFC President Dana White, basketball icon Shaquille O'Neal alongside sports legend Jon Jones will be in attendance according to GEA Chairman and Minister, His Excellency Turki Al Alshikh.

And now it has been confirmed that Power Slap will return to Riyadh Season this October, for its seventeenth live event. The main event of Power Slap 17 will feature an intense welterweight title defence as the undefeated champion, Anthony “Babyface” Blackburn (6-0, 3 KOs), puts his belt on the line against the formidable No. 4 contender, Cole “Full Send” Young (3-2, 2 KOs). The co-main event promises high-stakes heavyweight action when No. 1 ranked Dorian “Disturbing The Peace” Perez (4-3, 2 KOs) defends his position against the surging No. 6 ranked Zakir Naimanayev (2-1, 2 KOs).

Snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan has been confirmed to be one of the 12 players set to take part.

Set to take place in the ANB Arena, the World Boxing Council (WBC) David Benavidez will go glove-to-glove with Anthony Yarde, with the WBC light heavyweight title on the line for Benavidez. Whilst Devin Haney vs. Brian Norman Jr. will vie the WBO welterweight title, alongside several other undercard delights. The fight night will be broadcast live on DAZN pay-per-view.
